Plan Your Wedding

Planning for your wedding is definitely no easy task, especially when we doesn’t know where to start. But wait a minute, what actually pops up in your mind? YEAH!! Just can’t wait to tell everyone that you’re getting married!

Spreading your good news would be the first thing to do, and of course, share your joy with the whole world, “Hey guys, I’m getting married!!”

You can actually get a clue of how your closed friends has done their wedding in the past, or whether they have any good recommendation for their elegant wedding dresses, reputable flower vendor, reliable wedding coordinator, awesome wedding cake, etc.

Here’s the simple guide to plan for your wedding.

1. Determine your place for wedding. Most of the couple will decide to have their wedding in the city where they grown up with. Besides getting in touch with the families and relatives, they also looking for a very authentic wedding in their hometown.

2. Start looking venue for ceremony and reception. Having decided your ceremony to be held on church or Hindu temple, make an appointment with the person in charge and ask for the availability on your preferred date. Tell them if you don’t mind having 2 couple wed on the same day so that you can save on your budget. For wedding reception, hotels, restaurants, municipal hall are among the top choices. Others may find the countryside or hills with meadow view, taking into consideration the number of guests that you are inviting. You have to visualize how 500 guests can sit comfortably during your wedding reception, and does not look cramped.

3. Decide on your wedding theme. Be it vintage style or spellbinding magic theme, stick to a theme that you most passionate about. You will be surprised even your seashell collection can go well with your table setting decor. So get inspired!!

4. Search for reliable vendors ensuring that they can deliver what you want. From videographer to invitation card, get the list of vendors on hand. Set your budget aside for attire, venue rental, canopy rental, musician, make-up artist, etc. And remember, get in touch with your vendors from time to time to check on the progress.

The very last guide…. just relax… take your mind off once a while. If you think sign up for full course body treatment gonna burn a big hole in your pocket, then get some spa products from a personal store. Trust me, you gonna feel much more relief, yeah.. you will be pampered out after this!

A tight budget often keep you from your ultimate dream wedding. A simple piece of advice from me. If you do not want to hire a professional wedding planner, but at least engage a coordinator on your big day. After all, you would want the entire wedding to go on as planned and doesn’t go haywire.

Happy planning!
