Gourds, symbolizes longevity and good blessings.  葫芦(pronounced as “Hulu”) 象征长寿，福气绵延。In fact, the Chinese has long been using it as craft decorations, as you may probably find it in some street selling in China. The Feng Shui believes that Hulu can dispel all kinds of sicknesses from you!

Anthurium, 火鹤花, youthful flowers for every season. This silk anthurium is so lovely. For a simple touch, just put a bunch of anthurium in a vase! Anthurium is one of the most long lasting fresh flowers. The fresh red anthurium is available in our shop on the 23 Jan onwards.

Ok guys, so far I have been introducing you various types of flowers. You might be wondering what to put in the vase for a finishing touch. Go for pebbles! Colorful pebbles are the wonderful pairing for any type of blooms or bamboo.

Too much of flowers in your house? Go green! Remove your old flowers from the vase and replace them with alfalfa grass or wheat grass. As simple as it is! so refreshing….

More Floral Decorative Items for Chinese New Year!!

There are more Chinese New Year stuff arriving today! Check this out!

Peony, a symbol of prosperity and nobility. This flowers has long been known for wealth and honour. 牡丹花又名为富贵花。

The sword-shaped leaves on the stem make Gladiolus a perfect one for tall vases arrangements. Plus, its sequentially blooms from bottom to top symbolizes tidings of great success, 步步高升, where every Chinese hope for throughout the year.

The Five Fortune(Solanum mammosum), 五代同堂, has its name derived from the tiny golden fruits bearing attaching the bottom of each fruit. The Chinese believes that it is a blessing to have five generations living harmoniously under one roof.

This carnivorous pitcher plants, Nepenthes mirabilis, periuk kera (in malay), 猪笼草 traditionally believes to have “wealth” flowing into a pitcher!! To the Chinese, the pitcher’s ability to hold water means collecting wealth. That’s the reason why it gains it popularity among the Chinese during New Year season!!
